It matters little where I am from, how I’ve lived, what or where I studied. All that is now past. I paint, basically, and in today's habitat of quick communications, a picture can still speak a greater volume. I am interested in symbols and abstracts; to take an abstract idea or paint an abstract form and intersect it with the figure and maybe convert the abstract into a symbol. Together these elements, may express an overt ugly beauty or a truth hidden in instinct.

Daily, we are visually bombarded and it makes me wonder. Are we losing something, do we distrust what we see?
