In all honesty, to me it does not matter where I am from, how I’ve
lived, what or where I studied? I don’t paint for my region,
I paint because I have to, basically, and in this habitat of
quick communication a picture can still speak. I am interested in
symbolic abstracts. To take an abstract idea or paint an abstract
form and intersect it with the figure to convert the abstract into
a symbol. Together these elements, this symbol, can express a feeling,
an action etc. The pictures speak to the homogenizing peoples. Are
we losing something in this proccess? The pictures are for everyone. And
all reacting opinions are valid.
